Activating the scent:

1) Unscrew the lid and remove the inner stopper

2) Screw the cover back onto the bottle ensuring it is tight and secure

3) Gently shake the bottle so that the oil soaks into the wood on the lid.  Do not top too vigorously as it may cause spillage

4) Adjust the string to your preferred length and hang where desired

5) When the scent starts to fade, give the bottle another gentle shake
