Death Wobble Cure. Jeep death wobble is usually caused by a loose or worn-out track bar and or track bar bushing. Once you get the dreaded death wobble it only gets worse since many times it eggs out the lower track bar hole and therefore allows the track bar to move back and forth. Our HD track bar bolt kit is your answer.

This is a new flange bolt kit that is now used on all of our HD track bar kits. Our HD track bars use larger bushings which have a 9/16 through-hole shown below. This will require you to drill out the OEM axle side track bar location. Now the OEM nut and flange do not work and this is where this bracket works very nicely. Laser-cut from 1/8, CNC bent, all-metal lock nut welded, and gold zinc plated. Comes with 2 washers and a 9/16s grade 8 fine thread bolt.

9/16-18 x 3" Grade 8 bolt, 2 washers, and then all metal lock nuts come welded to the 1/8 flange. Approximate torque spec = 146 ft/lbs

NOTE: This kit uses a Top Lock - it will NOT screw on by hand. Start by hand, then use a torque wrench.

Uniquely shaped threads provide a vibration-resistant friction fit, so the nut stays put. These all-metal locknuts withstand higher temperatures than nylon insert locknuts. The top thread section is deformed to create two or three locking zones; they start easily by hand, then must be wrenched into the final position. Grade C is equivalent to Grade 8. IFI-100/107 Grade C. ANSI B1.1 UNC or UNF Class 2B thread requirement. Zinc plating retards the corrosion rate in a normal atmosphere.
