This vintage SX-70 photo portrait is from the vast collection of an amateur photographer who used the camera extensively from the mid-70s to the mid-80s. Many enigmatic images extruded from his SX-70 camera during those years, mostly made along the west coast, some of which we currently have listed here in our e-Bay store.
However, recently we discovered he also made dozens of unforced, straightforward, images of people he encountered along the way. After years on the project, he finally came up with the idea of publishing what he called: “The SX-70 Book of Modern American Faces” but alas, no-one is immune to conflict, and the idea never got off the ground.
