Vintage Farmhouse Bench,  Handpainted Farm Scene. Condition is "Used".

Painted and Signed by the Artist, B. Soileau in 1976. This bench is 35¾" long, 9½" wide, and 12" tall. Solid wood construction. Has a few minor imperfections on one of the legs that are in photos. Paint has been worn from years of use. Colors are still vibrant, full of character,  and filled with many stories.

When you see this piece in person, it will bring you to a time long forgotten. A simpler time. A simpler place. Home. The Farm. The smells of our youth. Grandma's laugh, her stories. Fresh baked bread made in the old, wood fired cast iron stove.

The sounds of the herd. Blades of tall field grass brushing against the skin. The trees. So many memories.

Grandpa on his tractor. His gaze reminding you that there are chores to be done.

1976, Our Nations Bicentennial Birthday.

Long ago, but seems like just yesterday. Loved ones who are gone, but not forgotten. This is what I see when I look at this beautiful bench.
