This is a beautiful, lacy, ornate, antique silverplate dish, with an image of cherries embossed in the center.  The

James W. Tufts Boston fine silverware catalog describes it as a "Cake or Fruit Plate Burnished Centre, 1896-1900".  Plate is in very good vintage conditions.
