Unlike many cheaper versions which are silver plated or cheap metal, this one is solid silver so will not wear or fade.  Just give it a polish from time to time and it will come up as good as new.

To fit the tooth you simply push it over the existing tooth.  The tooth is not meant to be a permanent fixture and should really be removed when you are eating or sleeping.
