Here is a lovely vintage Schumann Dresden Bavaria Chateau Pedestal Tea Cake Compote/Stand. This colorful footed serving plate features a pierced & floral rim with a vibrant bouquet of flowers in the center. The pedestal has 4 small bouquets and the entire piece is trimmed with gold accents. It is in very good condition, no chips, cracks or repairs. This measures approximately 8-1/4" x  4-1/8" tall and weighs just over 1 pound. It is marked with a blue stamp the words Schumann Dresden and the Lion within the crowned shield as well as a scripted word Bavaria, in a lighter blue.
