Buyers in Canada, UK, Germany, Australia or Japan – read before purchase !!

Glad to combine shipping on stamp purchases. However only able to do so if you request INVOICE BEFORE PAYMENT.

US choices:  Standard with CV < $20 = $1.50 first (single or block) order (add $1.25 for first sheet or pane), $0.30 each additional order (tracking or insurance at buyer’s request / expense). First Class with CV < $40: any amount of stamps up to 4oz, including tracking for $4.35.  Or Priority Mail for $8.85 with insurance (any amount, any weight, orders up to $100).

Any International: select International Priority Shipping (eBay's Global Shipping Program) and they will handle ALL customs forms, VAT, duties, robust tracking, etc. 

Canada - UK - Germany - Japan – Australia CHOICES: 

1.      International Priority Shipping - see Any International above. Contact me if not visible. 

 

2.      USPS First Class Package International (combine orders up to 8oz) I will handle customs forms and eBay will collect VAT or sales tax.  Tracking is provided.  You will need to pay duties (if any – see below) upon arrival.  Contact me if not visible.  Canada: $17.75, UK - Germany - Japan: $21.20, Australia: $22.70

 

3.      eBay International Standard (combine orders up to 8oz) customs info and tracking generated by eBay and a sales tax may be collected at checkout.  Per fine print on eBay you may still have to deal with forms and duties and additional taxes on delivery.  These shipments are moved between carriers.  I’ve had no problems, but reports of tracking and customs are not as robust as options 1 and 2.   Canada: $14.50, UK - Germany - Japan: $16.80, Australia: $20.20

 

4.      Economy Shipping - only orders with CV < $20 up to 12oz (tracking or insurance at buyer’s request / expense).  This economical choice is sent standard US Postal Service without customs forms and most small person to person (not to businesses) envelopes pass without incident.  ONLY select it understanding your local regulations and that you may have deal with customs forms and/or pay duties and taxes later.  Stamp dealers in UK and Australia have made smallish purchases using this choice, and I’d guess they know more than I, but you accept the small risk that Border Agencies may delay and/or lose your items sent without tracking.  Otherwise, please choose a more complete service.  Canada: $2.50 first (single or block) order (add $2.00 for first sheet or pane); $0.40 each additional order.  UK - Germany - Japan - Australia: $3.50 first (single or block) order (add $2.50 for first sheet or pane); $0.75 each additional order.

DUTIES

 Information from UPS website (August 2021), however UPS states: “provided AS IS, may not be current, and does not constitute legal advice. In no event shall UPS be liable for any errors in the information".

Canada Orders < $20 CAD there are no duties, but subject to GST or HST. If the purchase is of  US issues they are also excepted under NAFTA rules.

Australia appears to be duty / tax free for shipments < $1000.oo AUD

Germany appears to be duty free < 150 Euro.  But sales are not exempt from VAT

Japan appears to be duty / tax free for items < 10000.oo Yen

UK appears to be duty free for items < 135.oo GBP and VAT is 20%
