For are is an amazing set of 12 original souvenir photographs from the 1936 Berlin Olympics, often referred to as the "Nazi Olympics." Measuring 2.75 x 3.5 inches, these 12 photographs are packaged as a set as part of a series of sets by Berlin-based Presse-Bild-Zentrale Braemer and Gull. This set numbering 73-84 includes scenes from August 6, 1936. Two cards feature USA's Forrest Towns who set the world record in the 110 M hurdles and went on to win the gold. Card 77 shows Jack Lovelock of New Zealand winning a world record setting and gold medal winning 1500. Photos 82 and 83 show Japan's Naoto Tajima who won a gold medal in the triple jump. This set #7 group of photos are in pristine shape and come in their original cardboard envelope packaging with card guide and together make up set of 12.
