A genuine Henry McCullough signature for sale, likely to date from the mid 90’s at the time of a ‘Beatles associates’ collection of autographs was being assembled.

Henry McCullough was Wings first guitarist on their first tours and appears on Red Rose Speedway and on singles from 1972 to mid 1973 leaving at the point of the commencement of sessions for Band On The Run.

An extraordinary moment recorded on My Love is Henry’s soaring solo - recorded in one take without any rehearsal needed.

The person assembling the autographs and signatures was called Mark Bowers, attending a number of Liverpool based Beatles conventions in the mid 90’s.

Recently his collection went under the hammer.

The handwriting in black biro pen ink is on lined paper with Henry - writing from Northern Ireland - explaining to Mark that he was sending an accompanied signed photo - which is also listed on eBay by myself in a separate sale.

The autographed item itself has been stored brilliantly and is presented in near mint condition,

This item was recently sold at auction as part of an autograph collection job lot.

Tim Davidson Auctions - 12th January 2022 - part of Lot 564.
