This listing is for a vintage English bone china OVAL PLATTER in the highly-sought after Old Country Roses pattern by Royal Albert.  This fine piece was made in England (its marks denote production during the 1970-80's).  Now considered the most popular china pattern in the world, Old Country Roses came into being in 1962, designed by Harold Holdcroft, when the post World War II pottery industry was struggling to adapt and survive.  This vintage platter possesses sprays of hand-applied, burnished 24 karat gold and is just breathtaking!
