The NEUROSIGN 100 Nerve Monitor has been designed to meet the needs of operating theatre staff by continuously monitoring motor neural pathways which are at risk during surgical procedures. The instrument gives an audible interpretation of muscle activity, which is sensed by needle electrodes placed into the relevant muscles controlled by those nerves to be monitored. There are a number of outputs available on the rear of the machine, to enable an EMG instrument, oscilloscope, chart recorder or computer to be connected.
