1957 AMPEG JET 10 GUITAR AMPLIFIER PP EL84 THE RAREST GUITAR AMP YOU'LL OWN..... I have owned this amp for years, But have never attempted to turn it on. The amplifier is completely original And I know better than to try to turn it on. The Capacitors are now 65 years old.

I got this amplifier from an old guy that was the Original owner, He stated That he had bought it from an old electronics shop when he was a Kid, He said that he tinkered with playing guitar and then never used it again. So the amplifier has not been turned on since then.

When I got the amp, I started doing some internet research, I quickly realized that the amplifier did not exist. I then spoke with an Acquaintance that is a very serious Vintage Musical instrument collector. He gave me the phone number of the guy that wrote the book on Ampeg. When I spoke to the Gentleman that wrote the book, He said that he did not know anything of this amplifier and that the only person that would had passed. I spoke to another acquaintance that said it was 1 of 5 made. I can not verify that statement though.

A very interesting detail about this amplifier is, The Tubes are Factory Leaded in place. So they can't be removed unless you actually break the lead seal. Which means these are Original 1957 tubes. As you can see, This unit also has the original 12" Jensen speaker which is dated to 1957 along with the potentiometers.

If you collect Vintage Rare Equipment you'll most certainly enjoy this amp as one of your better Acquisitions.... Interior label quite informative.........Thanks And enjoy.....
