Vintage Adidas The Fade Kobe KB8 Crazy 8 90s 1998 Basketball Shoes UK10.5 EQT.

This is a very rare Adidas basketball shoe released in 1998 called The Fade. A very similar style of shoe that Kobe wore at that time. This shoe is an original 1998 pair which is wearable.

The Adiprene midsole is not prone to crumble like PU midsoles and had lots of life left in it. The torsion section did fall apart when I wore these so that's been removed but doesn't affect the use of this shoe. I also had to re-glue the midsoles with a contact cement I use for sole swaps. Not a perfectly pretty re-glue but presentable and wearable.

Original midsoles and laces all in good condition for the age. There are some dark glue stains on the inside of the shoe which has come about as the glue has aged and the synthetic leather upper has some mild cracking which you can see if you zoom on the photos. Last photo is of a quick wear from earlier in the week which shoes them in natural light.
