Recipes

Serve for 6-8 persons
Ingredients
1 kg Basmathi rice
1 tbsp of ghee blend
2 tbsp of margarine
2 tbsp of cooking oil
Clove, cardamom seeds and cinnamon
2 tbsp Beriani Mak Siti powder
6 shallots - blended
3 cloves of garlic - blended
1 inch of ginger - blended
3 stalks of coriander leaves
1/2 cup evaporated milk
Salt and sugar to taste
1/2 teaspoon egg yellow food coloring

Cooking Method
1) Heat the ghee, margarine and cooking oil then sauté shallots, garlic and ginger that have been blended with cloves, cardamom seeds and cinnamon
2) Fry until golden and fragrant. Then add the Mak Siti Beriani powder and stir well.
3) Add evaporated milk, coriander leaves and water (1 cup water to 1 cup rice). Heat to boil.
4) Add basmati rice, salt and sugar. Stir and heat to dry.
5) Then, add few drops of egg yellow food coloring on the rice. Cover and leave the rice until cook perfectly.
6) Garnish with raisins, cashew nuts (fried without oil) and fried onions before serving.

Storage

Store in a cool dry place
