This listing is for a 50/60Hz switchless region free mod kit for the Sega Mega Drive and Sega Mega Drive 2 complete with a replacement 3mm tri colour common cathode LED.

The PIC chip is flashed with Borti's code and the PCB was designed by ArcadeTV, wshadow & Borti4938.

***A reasonable amount of soldering skills are required for this mod. 30AWG Kynar/ solid core hook up wire is recommended (not supplied).***

Once you have installed the mod kit, to change regions press and hold the reset button to cycle through and release the reset button when the region changes:

Green = PAL/Eng (50Hz)

Orange = NTSC-J/Japan (60Hz)

Red = NTSC-U/US Eng (60Hz)

*Press and release the reset button momentarily to reset the console as normal.

**The mod remembers your last setting when the console is powered off and back on again.

***After changing languages, please reset the console.

****You will need to use a RGB scart cable after the mod is installed (not supplied).
