Vintage ~1940s French’s Mustard Hot Dan Advertising Spoon. This is a nice vintage Hot Dan advertising spoon circa 1940s. Hot Dan the Mustard Man was French’s mascot and was used fairly extensively in print advertising in the late 1930's through the 1940's. These spoons were attached to each jar of mustard. It is marked “Beetleware”, “Made in USA” and “Des. Pat. 97344”. It is ~4¼” long. This spoon is in VG+ shape. No cracks and very little wear (see pics).
