US Thompson Drum Magazine Pouch

Description

Quality reproduction of the American WW2 Thompson Drum Magazine pouch.

The iconic Thompson Submachine Gun was first issued to US forces with a 50 round drum magazine. This ammo pouch attaches to a pistol belt and can carry a spare drum magazine. The drum mag fell out of favour with soldiers, as British experience had shown it was unreliable, heavy and noisy, traits unsuitable to combat.

Complete with both rear belt loop and canvas shoulder strap.

Made from a khaki cotton canvas.
