ta' BOX nr.1
Fluxus Zone Nord / Panel 13, Copenhagen
1969
1st (only) ed.
[ltd. ed. of 250 copies]
25 x 36 cm.
unpag.
plastic bag with contents in a stamped brown paper envelop
(the - here present! - paper envelop is usually missing!)
many inserts of varying nature:
like a green wooden and a yellow plastic stick-with-label, a small plastic bag with grey sand(?),
a piece of licorice, unopened envelop (with gold(?) powder), another unopened envelop,
a match, cloth, a cardboard coin and paper in a plastic envelop, etc., etc.
In a way it is a time-capsule!
the outside of the plastic bag has an original silkscreen print in red by Per Kirkeby
(known fragile: this copy is in very good condition!)
Nr. 1 of a series of 4 bag-magazines
(there also is a Nr. 2½, made in an edition of only a few copies aside the 'normal' series;
I've never seen a #2½ on sale, by the way)
rare avant-garde / Fluxus magazine-as-bag-in envelop issue
contains concrete poetry, 'objects trouvées', and Fluxus items
pages and inserts by a.o.:
Hein Heinsen, Bjørn Nørgaard, Lene Adler Pedersen
Henning Christiansen, Per Kirkeby
Because varying(!) artists each filled the bag personally, each of the bags had a different contents
and is therefore unique.
This copy has many inserts!
