A NOS (New Old Stock) OEM Pressed Hardboard (Masonite) Rear Compartment Closeout Panel to fit the 1978-1981 Chevrolet C3 Corvette. These have the original factory part ID labels and tickets but no packaging. They are in EXCELLENT condition and blemish-free. Sold as a set only. They are intended to be painted to match the vehicle colors.

We sometimes acquire NOS parts from dealerships selling discontinued products in bulk, collectors, estate sales, pack-rats, and so on. Some NOS items may survive the decades of storage perfectly. More often, some small amount of "shelf rash" occurs. Some materials may exhibit light corrosion and others none. Sometimes heat, humidity, and bacteria will combine to turn paper-based packaging into dust. In general, these parts labeled as NOS are bonafide OEM and still in much better condition than any USED or TAKE-OFF part. "Purity" and Appearance of the parts are both top-notch.
