Aji Cristal peppers are native to
Curico, Chile. 3 feet tall plants produce waxy looking pendant pods 3 to 4
inches long and 1 inch wide.
If you prefer your peppers on the milder side, harvest them when green. When fully ripe, the peppers develop a much
hotter level of spice, about 30,000
Scoville Heat Units. In Chile, the peppers are roasted, stuffed with meats and cheese, and
used in stews and marinades for braised meats. 90-100 days. Container friendy.
