These are widely used on MOST Jeeps up to 1995 using standard hardware (non-metric).
Jeep used these bolts all over their trucks (Body, Fenders, Engine Bay, Etc). The most common use for these bolts are hood hinges, fenders, fender braces, seat tracks and battery tray. However, based on your application, the use for these bolts may vary.
Each bolt has a dog point tip which helps with alignment and minimal risk to stripping the threads.
Since they have a black phosphate coating (not painted), the finish will last.
