You are bidding on a collection containing 28 manuals on the C-47 "Skytrain" transport aircraft, also known as the DC-3 in PDF format. This venerable workhorse of WWI was designed originally by Douglas in the 30's. I read last year that the last DC-3 was just retired as a commercial aircraft. The incredible reliability and durability of this aircraft were legend.Special care has been taken with these scans to preserve the colors and the detail in the halftone images. Several versions of some manuals are included when the different versions have non-overlapping information. Manuals are in Adobe PDF format and can be read by any (free) downloaded Acrobat reader of  version 9 or later. These scans have had OCR applied to all the manuals and a combined full-text index of all the manuals is included.
