WW2 German Gollner Coffee Box - Historical Ration Kit Military Army Prop Repro

Description

WW2 German Collner Coffee Box

Coffee was hard to come by in Germany during the Second World War and was only available on the black market. Therefore, civilians and soldiers would drink Ersatzkaffee, also known as Muckefuck - fake coffee.

These high-quality reproductions have been crafted from the original boxes, so a real feel of authenticity is guaranteed. The boxes can be exposed to water for up to 2 minutes before the detail begins to deteriorate.

A nice addition to your ration kit if you prefer coffee over tea. Also ideal as props for historical displays and stands!

Please note: This is for the box only. This is probably for the best - Ersatzkaffee was made with whatever was available, including roasted chicory roots, malt, acorns, barley, and rye. There was no caffeine and it would definitely have tasted bad. So, we recommend that you fill the boxes with coffee beans and grind them out in the field or at the camp, or fill the box with already ground beans.
