A stunning Iridescent Ammonite fossil in a handmade wooden frame mounted on high-quality backing board. Common and Latinnames are printed underneath.

Ammonites are an extinct group of marine mollusc that lived hundreds of millions of years ago. Starting as very small sea creatures as they evolved and grew, so did the shell making these magnificent fossils.

Please be aware the specimen may vary in pattern / colour dueto being a unique specimen.

Fossil Origin: Madagascar

Distribution:Cleoniceras sp fossils are found in Middle Albian of Europe, Madagascar and Transcaspian region.
