Boisduval's Tiger Taxidermy Moth in Baroque Style Frame (Chetone histrio)
A beautiful Boisduval's Tiger moth in a handmade wooden frame mounted on high-quality acid-free conservation board. The Latin and common names are printed underneath the specimen.
The Boisduval's Tiger moth belongs to the Erebidae family of moths. These moths fly during the day, and imitate a very similar looking butterfly species Lycorea halia. It was first described by Boisduval in 1870.
Its wingspan reaches 6-7 centimetres (2.6 - 3 in).
Latin Name:Chetone histrio.

Distribution: Chetone histrio can be found in Honduras, Guatemala and Peru.
