 The Wi-Fi smart garden watering system should be plugged and programmed. If you want to change your old version watering system to smart one, only buy wifi system without valve. But if you want to make watering system, it is better to buy wifi system with valve and waterproof box. It is easy and cheap to buy suitable connectors for connecting to either the pipe line or garden hose. After connecting the valves to each other you can install them inside the waterproof box and make some holes that the pipes come out the box. Drill and install the cable gland for wiring the valves and then you can install the box on the wall.
