This is an AMAZING Vintage 1970s Spinning Music Box featuring a Porcelain Girl selling  "LEMONADE 2 CENTS" Figurine. She is a Highly Collectible FRED ROBERTS Original, and she plays “I Did It My Way” by Frank Sinatra. She was Made In Japan from Japanese Porcelain Ceramic and Wood.
... For those who are not Collectible Music Box "Aficionados", Fred Roberts was a famous ART POTTERY maker in the San Francisco area in the 1960's and 1970's.
He formed and trademarked "The Fred Roberts Co.
He did some Crazy Impressive Sculptures, Vases, and Pottery, and then later on he did a few Music Box Figurines that he had made in Japan by Local Japanese Ceramic and Porcelain Artisans. These music boxes were a HIT.
Especially the ORIGINAL 1970s versions that he had a direct influence in manufacturing... Later copies were made in the 1980's that are near identical, same mold, same musical mechanisms and same songs. It is not clear if he licensed the the molds and his name, but he did not have direct involvement in the later versions!
The later versions were made with cheaper Plastic Bottoms and Bases, and are NOT as Collectible, or as valuable, as the original wooden based 1970's music boxes are!

This is an Original, wooden based, 1970's Fred Roberts Co. Little Girl with a Bonnet Selling Lemonade / Lemonade Stand Ceramic Rotating Music Box.
