Luxury edition of the "Court and State Handbook of the Kingdom of Bavaria" for the year 1863 from the ducal library of the Wittelsbach family, Tegernsee Castle. From the reign of the fairytale king Ludwig II of Bavaria; Rare!



State handbooks contain, in addition to a list of the names of the officials of a state, in particular the official description of the court and state system of a state, listing all higher state and court officials. It also contained the names of the living family members of the ruling princely house, as well as other statistical notes about the country, people and administration in the various government districts.



2. Description and condition:


Gold-embossed, red leather and cloth binding with gilt edges. On the front the gilded royal coat of arms. Complete copy from the ducal library. Excellent overall condition! No damage whatsoever...no torn or missing pages. Solid spine. Extremely decorative.


With the typical label of the Schloss Tegernsee library on the spine.


This book is in excellent condition!
