Offered to you by a longtime rebuilder of Traditional Pedal Bicycles

TANGE 90G Cromolybednum Steel threaded FORK 1-1/8
Made in Japan

Meant for the very common 26"x2" wheel/tire (559) which was VERY POPULAR
for mtnbikes of 1980s-2010s

NOTE the diameter of 1-1/8" is not most common, but not rare either, used by many better bike store brands of the 1990s/2000s

This is Taken from a 1990s Mountain Bike, it had about a 19 inch frame
The Diameter of the steerer tube is nominal 1-1/8, so slightly larger than many earlier mtn bikes of 70s/80s, which had a 1 inch measurement. The 1-1/8 wsa for somewhat mroe rugged use, while not the most popular was not rare, so you can certainly find many replacement parts such as headsets, washers/spacers, locknuts, bearing ball retianer rings.,etc

COLOR
This is black with fine 'paint splatter' green!

FITTING the forks steering tube has about 145 mm which would be buried between the bottom of your headset cup( center of race) and the the top of the steerer tube, the final locking nut's threaded inside. INCLUDES: Fork, and shown hardware COMPATIBILITY This fork while meant for a 1990s Japanese Mountainbike Will work for many better mtn bikes of the 1990s-2000s, SO basically this should work on many of the Bike Store brand better quality bikes of 1990s to maybe 2000s which used 1-1/8 inch standard for head tube/headset/steerer tube. Note that bike store brands BASIC models, woudl probably have still the 1" threaded headset. Later , about late 2000s into 2010s , on the better bikes the move went to threadless headsets! FLAWS Some minor cosmetic flaws exist throughout, this is used, but not abused. I try to show the worst in the pictures. Rust does exist, but structure is strong and not bent. I believe in not bending parts back. I did not bend anything back here, nor any evidence of this being so. The Races do have some wear and some minor pitting and uneven wear slightly. They are not totally unusable nor unsafe. BUt if you like fabulous adjustments like I, you should change them! That being said, they are usable, just clean regrease and adjust best you can! New Tange headsets usually for 8 to 20 dollars on ebay or at bike stores. QUESTIONS/REQUESTS:
