The cloisonné cylinder was used as a Chinese hat stand in the old days.  Antique design of many treasures.  Very authentic and old cloisonné.

This is a part of old stock packed away in the early 90s.  The original shipping label is still on the item.  The hat stand was old then.  

The era is early Republic.  It either an antique or near antique.

For those who know cloisonné, the workmanship and old method of making is obvious.  Very heavy.
