CONDITION: There is light wear to gilding on rim of cup.
This porcelain demitasse cup and saucer was produced in Germany by the Royal Berlin Porcelain Manufacturer between 1830 and 1840. The saucer measures 4 ¼ inches long and3 3/4 inches wide. The cup is 1 1/2 inches tall. the set is shaped and decorated in the Meissen style.
The set is hand painted with Watteau scene of lovers in garden landscapes on both pieces. The borders have ornate hand gilding with tiny pink roses peeking out. #890b
