Here we have a lovely vintage brass coal/log box. This comes in the form of a treasure chest which has a textured brass veneer with wood effect. Nice details with faux metal straps, studs, handles and latches. It looks great, very quirky, perfect for logs/kindling/coal by the fire or could even be used as a toy chest for your children or pets toys. This would date from somewhere between the 1930's and 50's and would look perfect by the fire of a period fireplace in an old country house or manor. The approximate external measurements are as follows; 15.5 inches by 10.75 inches by 13.5 inches weighing over 4.5kgs. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.
