Avarcas Menorquina Sandals, also known as abarcas or Menorquinas is the traditional footwear from Menorca. Menorca is the second largest island of the Balearic Islands, located in the Mediterranean sea in Spain.

It is a highly desirable place to visit because of its beautiful beaches, green countryside, blue sea and sky and white of the houses.

Menorca is also the home of the traditional Avarcas Menorquina Sandals. The land in Menorca is dry and hot in summertime. The first avarcas were originated over a century ago for farmers who worked the land. They were made with leather and recycled tires to keep the farmer’s feet cool, comfortable and protected.

Nowadays, Avarcas are made with lightweight flexible rubber molds, still with the same characteristic finish of the traditional sewn sole. The eco-friendly line is still made from recycled motorbike tires.

Returns Policy. If you wish to return your purchase it must be returned in  'as-received' condition (i.e. unworn) with the original box (i.e. also unmarked & undamaged) and swing tags, labels etc. within 14 days of it being delivered. On receipt we will refund your account less any original delivery charge paid at the time of purchase. Please note we do not offer a paid returns service. You will need to arrange and pay for the returns method of your choice for correctly supplied, unwanted items. Please also note if you require an alternative product you will need to place a new order as your original will be refunded upon return.
