FEATURE

• A hex bushing connects two pipes with different diameters. One pipe is male threaded and the other one is female threaded. The diameter of the female threaded pipe is bigger than that of the male threaded pipe.
• These fittings are made of brass, which is considered more durable for heavy-duty use. Threads used on these bushings are NPT.
• There may be some small flaws on the brass surface caused by storage or transportation, which are normal and will not affect the function.
• It is ISO certified and suitable for air, oil, gas and fuel. Not for potable water!
• Temperature range: -53 ~ 121 °C (-65 ~ 250 °F).
• Maximum pressure: 150 psi.
• Corrosion resistance: Brass inherently resists attack. Though less corrosion resistent than other alloy, it is qualified for most conditions.
• CA PROP65 WARNING: This product can expose you to chemicals including lead (~2.85%), which is known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. And it is not allowed by federal law to be installed for potable water use in the U.S.A. and its territories.

USE

• This product may expose you to lead so can only be used for nonpotable services such as manufacturing, industrial processing, irrigation, outdoor watering, or any other uses where the water is not anticipated to be used for human consumption. For example, toilets, bidets, urinals, fill valves, flushometer valves, tub fillers, shower valves, fire hydrants, clothes washing machines, emergency drench showers, emergency face wash equipment, eyewash devices, fire suppression sprinklers, steam capable clothes dryers, and sump pumps can use.
• U.S. Solid high quality pipe fittings own a reputation in automobile service industry. Many customers purchase NPT pipe fittings mainly for air compressors. Actually, our products are competent for multiple industries, including hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, etc.

NOTE: Threads can only hold the pieces together and do not provide the seal. We suggest using Teflon tape to ensure the seal of the threading, as shown in FIGURE 1. It is suitable to liquids, gases and even for high vacuum. Tapes can also prevent corrosion on the threads, which otherwise can make future disassembly nearly impossible.
