This unique, 35mm glass "Colombia" soccer jersey marble comes from the special Limited Edition 2014 World Cup set of 32 contemporary glass sulphide marbles which were made especially for collectors.   Only 2014 of these sets were made, with most of those being sold around the time of the tournament.  Someone in the Netherlands recently found a few sets that had been left forgotten in a warehouse and we were fortunate enough to purchase them from him.  We opened a couple of the sets and are selling the marbles individually that represent the participating countries.  The pictures of the box is to show the set that this marble comes from.  This marble will NOT come packed in one of those boxes.  Measuring 35mm (1.4 inches) in diameter, this impressive marble was made in the tradition of the old Sulphide marbles. The ceramic jersey (shirt) inside is hand-painted and enclosed in a full, sparkling glass orb.

The manufacturer was only in business a few years and struggled with getting the marbles perfect, with natural disasters (his warehouse flooded) and with keeping costs down.   On some of the marbles there are cold roll marks, bubbles or the shirt is tilted.  We will pick out the best one that we have.  The bubbles do not detract from the appearance of the marbles, it adds to the story of these marbles. They were made in the Netherlands by Hans Zandvliet of Magic Marble Productions B.V. and are from the Winners Collection.  Winners® are a new generation of real glass marbles with a 3D object inside.  Popular characters that kids like can be put into the Winners®”.  The value of these marbles will only rise as time goes by, so don't miss out on this unique, exclusive collectible!  These are discontinued and no longer being made. The factory is closed and the marbles that had been made were put into storage.

Images are representative of selection. Each marble is a unique glass orb. No two marbles are exactly alike.  Please be aware that marbles are very difficult to photograph and due to differences in personal settings on computers and hand held devices the colors you see may vary slightly from the color you receive.  Lighting such as flash photography can greatly effect the look of a marble as can holding the marble under different types of lighting can make the color look slightly different.  We do our absolute best to represent our marbles accurately and true to color, but even the best photography will not display as 100% perfect.  The white spots or streaks on these marbles are light reflections, not damage or error spots.
