UPVC Gearbox Door Lock Multipoint Centre Case 30mm 92 PZ Replacement Compatible with GU Old Style Door Locks
When a door lock fails, the most common part that is most likely to be at fault is the gearbox. Replacing the gearbox instead of buying a whole new replacement lock can save you quite abit of money, especially when the rest of the door lock is in perfect working order.
This single spindle gearbox has been manufactured as a direct replacement for older style GU multipoint locks and can be used alongside lever/lever handles. It is non-handed meaning it can be used on both left and right handed doors and is relatively easy to install.
GU manufacture a comprehensive range of door locks so taking careful measurements before purchase will ensure a correct fit. A suitable diagram for comparison is located in the gallery for reference.

What should I check before ordering a new door lock gearbox case?
The most important measurements are the backset and the lock handle centres (the distance from the centre of the handle spindle to the centre of the barrel). Both measurements should be checked before ordering to ensure compatibility.
