This unit has an aluminum housing for faster heat dissipation and protection.

If your Yamaha rectifier looks like this unit or is slightly shorter, this will work for you.
Please note the following:
A rectifier converts AC to DC, it does not regulate voltage. As such, this part will work on ANY voltage system and it will work fine for a 6 volt or 12 volt charging system.
This is only a rectifier, the wiring is not included. See my other listings for the assemblies with wiring.
