After receiving an invite from his estranged father, Gordon (Stephen McHattie), Norval Greenwood (Wood) spends the weekend at his remote beachside cabin. However, his father's odd behaviour makes Norval doubt whether he wishes to be reconciled with him at all. Norval becomes rather unsettled by his father's fondness for violent stories and soon finds himself well and truly out of his comfort zone.
