Here we have a beautiful antique 19th century apothecary pestle and mortar. This is a wonderful example with a beautiful patina, I believe the mortar is made from bronze and the pestle brass. The pestle measures approximately 7.5 inches by 1.25 inches, the mortar is 3.25 inches by 4.25 inches. This would make a wonderful prop for a Chemists, or window display or would look superb at the centre of a rustic country farmhouse dining table. This is the only one on eBay of course so get it while you can! If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.
