The 1920s were a veritable heyday for Steiff dogs
who were regularly to be found at parties as well. With her long mohair
plush and wide innocent eyes, Molly dog a fixture of the Steiff range
since 1925 appealed above all to female fans. She was a big hit and
caused quite a sensation when she outsold the Teddy bears. The original a
special variant from 1927 on which the 10 cm replica with a bow and
bell is based can be found in the Steiff archive. The white and green
tipped mohair plush was specially recreated by the Steiff Schulte
manufactory.
1-way jointed with Glass Eyes and stuffed with Safety Filling, and with gold-plated "Button in Ear" and Surface Washable.
This Bear is part of Steiff's 2021 Exclusive range.
Comes in a presentation box with certificate.
