• The VE-20 is a dedicated vocal processor with an all-in-one set of effects optimized for vocal sound. Just select your favorite sound from 30 presets according to genre and style for high-quality, effective vocal sound creation. Of course, the effects are optimized exclusively for vocals, and you can feel the high quality of the effects.

• There are 12 "STANDARD" presets that use dynamic effects such as delays, reverbs, and compressors that are ideal for different genres and styles of music. There are 10 "DOUBLE" and "HARMONY" effects that add thickness and harmony to the voice. Eight types of "SFX" are available for distortion, pitch correction, and other aggressive vocal sound changes.

　In addition, preset effect settings can be edited, and a total of 50 settings can be saved in the user area to suit your preferences. In each case, the effect sound can be selected simply by turning a knob.

Effects quality comparable to that of stand-alone units.

　Each of the VE-20's effects has been developed exclusively for the VE-20 and has a quality comparable to that of a stand-alone studio unit. Delays and reverbs produce a sense of space and reverberation, which are essential for vocal effects, while dynamics effects, which suppress variations in volume, dramatically enhance the quality of vocals.

　In addition, the "double" effect, in which the same person records the same melody over and over during recording to add thickness to the voice, can produce the effect of two people actually singing together, with dedicated effect processing in real time. Harmony, which can add harmony between two voices without changing the vocalist's voice quality, allows you to easily achieve comfortable harmony by simply specifying the key of the song.

　Furthermore, Pitch Correct, which corrects pitch wobble, an indispensable feature in recording, can produce in real time from a gradual type of effect to the mechanical stair-step pitch changes that are attracting attention in the latest music scene.

　It also includes distortion, flanger, and chorus, newly developed specifically for vocals. Radio voices and strobes that shred the voice are also available.

Phrase loop function for enhanced live performance.

　The VE-20 is equipped with a phrase loop function that allows you to record a vocal phrase, play it back repeatedly, and then record it over and over again. The VE-20 supports recording of up to 38 seconds (mono), and can be used to reproduce a cappella choruses by layering different melody lines, or to perform with layered voice percussion, depending on your ideas. This is a powerful tool for live performances.

Two pedals for speedy operation

　The VE-20 has two pedals mounted on the main unit for speedy control of effects during performance.

　The left pedal basically turns effects on and off, and when using phrase loops, it also functions as a record, playback, and stop pedal for the loop you have created.

　The right pedal basically turns on/off the DOUBLE/HARMONY effect. It is possible to create detailed vocal sound effects, such as adding hum in each phrase. The right pedal can also be used to turn on/off other effects or to assign other controls, allowing you to actively control effects while playing.

A full range of specs for a variety of applications.

　The VE-20 is equipped with a full range of input and output terminals for studio work as well as live stage use.

　Inputs are a combo of standard phone and XLR jacks. Phantom power is also supported, allowing connection and use of a condenser microphone for vocalists' special needs.

　The outputs are stereo XLR jacks. A headphone jack that can also be used as a stereo line out is also provided, allowing the VE-20 to be used in a variety of connection methods.

　The VE-20 can be powered by either batteries or an AC adapter. The VE-20 can be used at street live performances, where it is difficult to secure a power source.
