Antique Imperial Russian Faberge Cane Handle Silver Enamel Red Coral Monogram Nicholas II

I am pleased to present to you for sale this amazing old antique walking stick handle from the Russian Empire.

The handle is a handmade craftsmanship made by the jeweler Henrik Wigström who was one of the most important Faberge workmasters.

The cane holder is made of solid silver and is decorated with blue enamel, high quality natural red coral and the personal monogram of Tsar Nikolai II of Russia.

Such jewelry items were presented personally by the emperor as a gift or award to his closest people and distinguished officers. Few had the privilege to be awarded by the emperor with a special item that was decorated with his personal monogram.

The handle has a lid on top which reveals a secret container. The “button” of the lid is also decorated with a red coral cabochon.

The cane holder is marked with the respective imperial Russian silver hallmark “84”, the initials of the craftsman “H.W” and a stamp of the Russian Imperial eagle.

The item is in good condition.
