Add a second Cold Air Intake inlet to your Volvo.
The AIRSHARK MODULAR INLET modifies the stock battery ducting system and convert it into another intake inlet port. This allows you to easily create another cold-air inlet to support your custom modifications. If you want to create a custom Airbox on the left-side of the engine or a 2nd dedicated intake for your Do88 Airbox, then this solution is for you.

This unit fits most P1 Volvos (C30, C70, S40, V50) both facelift/pre-facelift models that does not utilise the left side of the vehicle as a main intake, similar to Drive-E engines.. The AirShark is designed to mount to your existing intake flange with no permanent modifications needed and can be reverted to the stock setup when needed. The only "modification" that needs to be done is to drill 2 holes so that the bolt can pass through the top panel.
NOTE: This mates up to the stock intake plastic top panel so please make sure you still have your stock panel installed.
For T5, 2.4i, D5 - SOME ATTACHMENTS WILL NOT FIT WITH THE STOCK AIRBOX IN PLACE SO ONLY WORKS WITH AFTERMARKET INTAKE.
As most P1 Volvo owners know, majority of our cars have 2 inlets - a primary inlet for the airbox and a secondary inlet that feeds into the battery compartment. While the stock airbox is more than able, it can become restrictive when tuning the engine as the demand for air increases. Installing the AIRSHARK RAM-AIR INTAKE helps immensely by forcing air into the intake but even then, there are certain physical limits that it has to adhere to - like the diameter of the inlet ducting. That is why aftermarket air boxes like the Do88 filter box have resorted to having a 2nd inlet port to facilitate more air flow. While this solution works, it negates the benefits of our single ram-air intake setup as the pressurized air just escape on to the other port.
The AIRSHARK MODULAR INLET converts the secondary inlet that was once exclusive to the battery compartment, into a usable inlet port. This allows you to run a "twin" ram-air setup for the ultimate true cold air intake.
