Kailaan, or Chinese broccoli tastes very similar to broccoli or calabrese. It is a compact plant and requires very little space. The whole stem, leaves, flowers and stalks are all edible and delicious and tender especially when eaten young. Add to stir-fries or lightly steam like conventional vegetables.
