Mustard Broad Leaf

Brassica juncea

Standard seed packet: 150 seeds,  5g, 25g, 100g, 250g, 1kg

1g =580 seeds (approximate count)

The fine, flavorful leaves of Mustard Broadleaf can be used fresh in salads and sandwiches or cooked for greens. Mustard is eaten because its zippy leaves are high in nutrients! Widely adapted and vigorously productive, this mustard garden seed produces large plants with tender cream-coloured midribs. These are slow to bolt and can be harvested 45 days after sowing.

Mustard garden seeds originated near the Himalayan region of northern India, where they have been growing for thousands of years. Chinese, Japanese, and African cuisine also uses this peppery vegetable.
