Up for sale here is this set of 2 brand new Supertech 22000 uf 100v capacitors, with new mounting clamps.  These will work great in the Marantz 240, 250, 250M, and 1200 amplifiers.  Those three amplifiers are difficult to find main filter capacitors for, since the commonly used Chemi-Con 22000 uf 100v caps are just slightly too tall.  These are the best replacement.

These are a bit shorter and a bit thinner than the old capacitors, but with the new clamps they will work great.  The 240, 250, and 250M originally used 20000 uf capacitors, so these 22000 uf caps are a slight upgrade, but will work perfectly in there.  The 100v rating means these can handle more voltage than the originals, which is good.

You will probably need to drill new mounting holes for the clamps.  Fortunately these will be in the bottom of the amp, so they won't be visible except from the underside.  You can mount the caps slightly off the bottom using the clamps, so they won't look much (or at all) shorter than the originals.

The body of each capacitor measures 51.2mm in diameter and 100mm tall.  These are 85°C 2000 hour capacitors, which means they can handle up to 85°C, or 185° Fahrenheit, and they will last at that temperature for at least 2000 hours.  These will obviously never see that much heat, so they will be good for the next 40-50 years at least.

These use screw terminals, the bases of which add about 8mm.  The screws are included.  These are authentic Made in Taiwan capacitors, manufactured in 2021.  Please see my pictures for details.

A note about installation:
Main filter capacitors are usually used to provide the positive and negative rails to the amplifier section, so one of them will appear to be wired backwards (with positive to chassis ground).  This is normal.  Before you replace your capacitors, take some clear pictures of the wiring so you will know how to connect the new ones.  If your equipment starts blowing fuses after replacing the main filter capacitors, you probably wired one backwards.

US shipping and handling is $10, and international is $28.  If you have any questions, please ask.
