Antique Original Signed 19th Century Watercolor of Nemours Ghazaouet Algeria

Antique Original Signed 19th Century Watercolor of Coastal Town of Nemours, present day Ghazaouet, Algeria. Algeria was under French dominion as a French colony between between 1830 and 1960, and this watercolor is certainly 19th century and during the time it was a French colony. This is a watercolor on board of the coastal town, but this watercolor was likely done by a British traveller on his "grand tour", as the name of the town is misspelled as "Nemour", with the "S" and the name of the country is also spelled in english, as "Algeria" as opposed to Algiers.  It is signed with the initials " A.M.W."  Also for the probable English provenance is that this was purchased at a British auction house.

Measurements: 3 1/2 x 5 inches

Condition: Generally good condition. Some foxing spots in sky area, verso of cardboard has missing cardboard- does not affect work. Please see photos
