One of the absolute last and most powerful laptops ever made that is fully compatible with Windows 98 SE. Its fast.
***I have two versions of this
laptop with WIFI available, one that is default 98SE, and one that is highly
modified with KernelEX, Firefox & Mypal web browsers to be able to browse
the modern internet. Both can connect to the internet or any network via wired
10/100 or wireless 802.11b connections. One can also play youtube videos etc.
There are pros and cons to each configuration. The default configuration is
fully compatible with 98SE programs and games while THIS listing for the
KernelEX modified system is not, but can run some highly customized
applications that normally could not run on 98SE.)
This laptop version is customized
for Windows 98 but this particular laptop also has extra software installed
that allows it to connect to websites still and play videos that normally any
98 system cannot. This comes with a compromise, many Windows 98 programs will
not run on it, however if you really want to take an old laptop out for a spin
on the internet and watch videos from a Windows 98 SE system, YOU CAN. *Of
course I do not necessarily recommend this and you do so at your own risk.
(Note, the wireless client only supports WEP or Open network systems, it does
not support WAP/WAP2 type encryption or higher. You may need an old access
point depending on your router, or you may not. I use the Dlink DWL-2100AP with
open network personally since my neighbors aren't hardened hackers go figure
and it works great for me.)
Both Broadcom Ethernet 10/100 and an Intel Pro Wireless 802.11b connection are
available and working for network connections.
This version has KernelEX, firefox 52.9.0esr and Mypal installed. It can browse
many websites without any issues. It is of course not a modern PC and may not
browse all sites perfectly. Please bear in mind it is old, and some pages or
videos will take time to load. It is one of the fastest possible 98 laptops in
existence so, it really doesn't get any faster than what it is.
Youtube works best with a premium subscription to skip ads since modern ad
blockers are no longer working unfortunately and setting playback default in
advanced settings of your youtube profile to 144p. Playback is actually pretty
decent considering if you do those 2 things.

Great condition overall, cleaned and tested thoroughly to be full working order (battery may or may not work). (Please note it will not be factory brand new clean although I do my best to meticulously clean each one, this is an old computer! Also there may be typical wear and tear on the outer case, possibly a sticker or two although I usually try to remove them.)
Windows 98SE installed. Universal
USB drivers also installed and work great for many things. (Can use most flash
drives & some other devices, very nice to have. Have used various flash
drives and on every one the wizard came up and default driver loaded it up.)
And pretty much every patch & update possible for 98.
