A lovely necklace featuring a Edward VII silver threepence coin. Threepence coins were considered lucky so I believe this would have been a good luck charm given as a gift. The coin has been carved out around Edward VII's head. It looks like it has a brass backing plate with the name 'TED' engraved to it. The coin pendant is attached to a silver necklace. The necklace is marked in tiny figures '925' to the clasp. A really interesting piece of wearable history. Please see photos.
